AGM – Like many things during lockdown, our AGM is going online this year! It will be held on Saturday 30th January at 6pm. If you would like to attend the AGM please, let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by text 087 7983101. If you have any proposals or nominations for officers, etc, please email email@example.com in advance.
Get Walking! – Walking tracks at GAA pitches remain open through Level 5 for anyone who wishes to use this facility to get some fresh air, some exercise & stretch the legs! The lights will be turned on Monday & Thursday evenings from 7-8pm for anyone who would like to get out during the dark evenings. Anyone using this facility is asked to keep current public health advise & social distancing guidelines.
Every Step Counts Challenge – Less than a week into the challenge we are already over quarter of the way to our 4,000km goal and almost 40 people are signed up to the challenge for Aughawillan GAA. All clubs who reach the 4,000km mark are entered into a draw for prizes worth up to €2,500. There is a leader board where you can see how we compare to other Connacht clubs & how you are doing against other people from your club – great for some motivation & friendly rivalry! If you would like to join in, download the ‘MyLife’ app, join the ‘Every Step Counts Challenge.’ Link it to your FitBit or Stava app & your KMs will automatically count towards the challenge!
Leitrim GAA 50 miles in January Challenge – Well done to all our club men & women taking part in the 50 miles in January Challenge to raise much needed funds for Leitrim Intercounty teams for the 2021 season. You can donate through GoFundMe and search ‘Leitrim GAA.’
