AGM – Like many things during lockdown, our AGM is going online this year! It will be held on Saturday 30th January at 6pm. Get Walking! – Walking tracks at GAA pitches remain open through Level 5, for anyone who wishes to use this facility to get some fresh air, some exercise & stretch the legs! The lights will be turned on Monday & Thursday evenings from 7-8pm for anyone who like to get out during the dark evenings. Anyone using this facility is asked to keep current public health advise & social distancing guidelines.
Every Step Counts Challenge – Irish Life are running a competition from January 13th until 3rd March for GAA clubs. Each club that collectively walks 4,000km by March will be entered into a draw for prizes worth up to €2,500. To join: Download the ‘MyLife’ app & register your details. Once registered, select ‘Connacht GAA-Every Step Counts’ & join Aughawillan GAA! Track your walks/runs on your Fitbit or tracking app like Strava and this will automatically appear on the MyLife App. Connect your tracker to the challenge under the ‘Track’ tab. All tracked walks between Wednesday 13th January and Wednesday 3rd March will count towards the goal of 4,000km!
