Club Notes – 03/10/2016

Leitrim Senior Football Championship Final 2016: Calling out every Man, Woman and Child to follow Aughawillan on to the field this coming Sunday as they take on Glencar Manorhamillton in the Senior Football Championship Final in Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada. Aughawillan will be going up against the club with the biggest population and pick in Leitrim. A team that beat us in the League in 2016. A team that saw us leave the Championship in 2015. In the words of Dylan Thomas “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” , Aughawillan too will not surrender, will not give up , will live, will fight, will not pass out of the light with just a whimper. As the Phoenix rises from the ashes so too will Aughawillan Rise, for now is not the time to look back, when forward is the place for victory!! Aughawillan GAA look forward to seeing you all at the match on Sunday and hope that every house in the surrounding parishes will show their allegiance to Aughawillan on this fine occasion and fly a flag. Willies Abú!!
