Club Notes – 13/06/2016

Swan Bar Division 4: Aughawillan played Leitrim Gaels on Saturday evening down the park. The numbers were scarce and Aughawillan just fulfilled the panel of fifteen. Gerard Mc Govern was a welcome sight back on the field after fifteen months away with injury. Aughawillan got off to a good start and showed an increased work rate in the first half and left the field at half time with an impressive few point lead. The second half took a on a slower pace, and a turn of events in the final ten minutes of the game saw Leitrim Gaels score two goals and ultimately win the game. Final Score Aughawillan 1-11 Leitrim Gaels 2-14. Aughawillan will play St. Marys next Sunday at 12 noon away. Willies Abú!!
