Club Notes – 21/09/2020

Junior A Championship – Well done to the Junior team who defeated Gortletteragh last weekend in the Junior A Relegation Final. Final Score: Aughawillan 1-16, Gortletteragh 12 points. Thank you to Damien Gilheany, Frank Smith & Charlie Kelly for their coaching, management & advise over the season.

St Brigid’s LGFA – Best of luck to the u16 ladies who play Mohill on Tuesday 22nd September at 6.30pm in Aughawillan.

Underdogs – The TG4 series ‘Underdogs’ and this year, they are looking for Ladies’ Footballers to join! Trials begin in October & you can sign up on TG4.ie.

COVID-19 – While the pitch and walking track are open, with a one-way system in place, members are reminded that the gym, clubrooms and dressings rooms are closed until further notice. There is hand sanitiser provided at the turnstiles and anyone using the facilities is asked to please use this when entering & members are asked to use the facilities in small groups.

Comhbhrón – Aughawillan GAA wish to extend their deepest sympathies to the family & friends of the late Michael McTague, who was recently buried in Aughawillan. Aughawillan GAA also would like to express their sympathies to the families and friends of the late Deirdre Meehan, Ballinamore and the late Ann McGovern, Corlough.
