Senior League – Hard luck to the Senior team who were narrowly defeated by St Mary’s last weekend. Score: Aughawillan 14 points, St Mary’s 2-10. Aughawillan GAA would like to thank Corlough GAA for the use of their facilities for the past few weeks.

Senior Championship – Leitrim GAA Football Championships 2020 begin this weekend. Out first Championship game takes place on Friday 26th June at 8.30pm in Cloone, when we play Aughnasheelin. We encourage as many people as possible to come out & support the lads! If you can’t make the game, there will be updates on our Twitter page – Aughawillan GAA. We wish the very best of luck to the team & management ahead of this year’s Championship.

Junior Championship – Best of luck to the Junior team & management who also begin the Junior A Championship, having won the Junior B Final last year. They play Melvin Gaels in their first game on Sunday 28th July at 3pm in Drumshanbo. As always, all support is very much appreciated!

Underage – Hard luck to St Brigid’s u13 team who were defeated by Glencar/Manorhamilton last week. Best of luck to the u13s as they play St Mary’s on Friday 26th July at 7.30pm at home.
Hard luck also to the u17 team who were defeated by Melvin Gaels & Glencar/Manorhamilton last week. The u17s play Dromahair in Dromahair at 7.30pm on Thursday 25th July & Gortletteragh at home on Monday 29th July.

Pitch Redevelopment – Please note that the main pitch is closed until further notice as drainage work starts on the field.

Club Lotto – Next draw will take place in Drumcoura on Wednesday 24th July. Jackpot €5,600. You can now play Aughawillan Lotto online through the link:

Ladies Football – A massive thank you to everyone who contributed & supported the Ladies’ bake sale last weekend, which proved to be a great success. The Ladies’ Intermediate Championship will begin on the August Bank Holiday weekend, fixture TBC.

Comhbhrón – Aughawillan GAA wish to express their deepest sympathies to the family & friends of John Flanagan, Dundalk & Garadice. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Corraleehan Parish Walk – Corraleehan Parish Walk continues each Thursday night at 8.30pm from Corraleehan Church. Community spirit, health, fitness, whatever your goals we will be happy to see you, everyone welcome.
