Senior League – Hard luck to the Senior Team who were defeated by Glencar/Manorhamilton. Score: Aughawillan 2-7, Glencar/Manorhamilton 6-19. We wish Declan McGovern a speedy recovery after receiving an injury last weekend.

Junior League – Well done to the Junior team who defeated Bornacoola last weekend. Score: Aughawillan 2-11, Bornacoola 2-10. They play Ballinamore on Sunday 28th April in Ballinamore at 12.

Ladies Football – Best of Luck to the Senior ladies who play Glencar/Manorhamilton on Friday 26th April at 7pm in Manorhamilton. Aughawillan Ladies would like to thank everyone who contributed, donated to and purchased from the bake sale on Easter Sunday.

Good Friday Poker Classic – Thanks to all our sponsors: KBG accountants, Ballymac Inn, SuperValu Ballinamore & all who brought spot prizes and refreshments. Thank you especially to our catering people, as well as Gene and Timmy Winters. After several hours of poker our prize pot off €800 was won by the following: 1st Patrick Stringer, 2nd Maura Sweeney, 3rd Gérard Gorby, 4th John Burke, 5th Bernard Rourke, 6th Ollie Plunket. Again many thanks to all who supported and made for a great night of cards.

Underage – Well done to st Brigid u15s who started the League with a win over St Joseph’s. Score: St Brigid’s 5-9, St Joseph’s 6 points. The u13 League final ended in a draw against Dt Joseph’s, each team scoring 1-7.

New Arrival – Congratulations to Eimear & Diarmuid McHugh who recently welcomed a baby boy, Senan.

Defib Training -The Irish Heart Foundation are offering defib & CPR training. This is a great opportunity to get trained up or to refresh your memory if you’ve already been trained. It’s a two hour session and will be held in the clubrooms. Please contact Marie Quinn to book your place.

Corraleehan Parish Walk – Corraleehan Parish Walk continues each Thursday night at 8.30pm from Corraleehan Church. Community spirit, health, fitness, whatever your goals we will be happy to see you, everyone welcome.
