Dublin – Aughawillan Sponsored Cycle – The big weekend is finally here when 20 former Aughawillan players along with a support team cycle 150km from Castleknock back to Aughawillan. They will begin I’m Castleknock at 9am on Saturday 12, cycling through Navan, Kells, Virginia, Cavan, Killeshandra before arriving back at Aughawillan GAA club rooms at approx. 5pm. Stay tuned to social media for updates on when they’ll arrive back for anyone wishing to welcome them home!
There will also be a club night after the cycle in Jackie’s with music and refreshments on the night. All welcome!
Thanks to all those who have donated this far, we appreciate any and all donations and sponsorship that can be made to the cyclists and we ask that you support and encourage all 20 cyclists in their final preparations.

Underage – Well done to the St Brigid’s u15 team who continued their league success with a win over Fenagh and drawing with Dromahair. Score: Dromahair 5-5 St Brigid’s 3-11, Fenagh 2-7 St Brigid’s 4-9.

New York – Well done to the Leitrim Senior team who had 1 point win over New York after a thrilling game that went to extra time. Congratulations especially to Noel and Mark Leitrim who both had fantastic performances on the day.
Aughawillan was also well represented on the Leitrim/Longford Master team who played a New York selection. A big Aughawillan crowd was present in New York over the weekend and no doubt an enjoyable weekend was had by all.
