Club Notes – 26/06/2017

Senior: Hard luck to the senior team who were defeated by Melvin Gaels last Wednesday evening in Kinlough. Final Score 1-10 to 1-8. Many thanks to Melvin Gaels for providing refreshments to our team and supporters after the game.
We were also defeated by Mohill in the league last Saturday evening in Mohill. Final Score 2-13 to 1-9. Speedy recovery to Kieran O’Haire who picked up an injury during the game.

Junior: Good luck to our Junior team who continue their drive for league promotion when they take on St. Mary’s in Aughawillan on Sunday at 12pm.

The U12 Longford – Leitrim Division One League – Well done to our U12 team who defeated Fenagh last Tuesday evening. Final Score 4-6 to 4-11. They take on Clonguish next Thursday evening in Newtownforbes at 7pm.
U15: Good luck to our U15 team who start their championship campaign against Mohill on Tuesday evening at 7pm in Mohill.

Cuilcagh Mountain Climb: Anybody who hasn’t returned their sponsorship cards please do so as soon as possible.

Minor Connacht Championship: Good luck to Niall and the Leitrim Minor team who take on Sligo in Markievicz Park on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.

Corraleehan Parish Walk: Corraleehan Parish Walk continues each Thursday night at 8.30pm from Corraleehan Church. Community spirit, health, fitness, whatever your goals we will be happy to see you, everyone welcome.

Comhghairdeas: Aughawillan GFC wishes to congratulate Damien Maxwell and Mary Smyth on their marriage last weekend.
We would also like to congratulate Marian Mulligan and Paul Curry who got married last Saturday.

Comhbhrón: Aughawillan GFC wishes to express our sympathy to Anna Gallogly on the death of her husband Vincie and to the extended Gallogly and McGovern Families. Vincie was a great supporter of the club over the years, especially our poker classics and he will be sadly missed by all. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
