Aughawillan GAA Notes 13th March 2017
Junior Team: Well done to our Junior team and management who defeated Bornacoola in Dromod last Sunday on a scoreline of 2 -12 to 1 – 6 in the first round of the league. They now take on neighbours Sean O’Heslin’s in Aughawillan this Saturday at 5pm. All support welcome.
Underage Teams: U-15 game was called off last weekend due to the weather. Our U13 team play St. Mary’s in Carrick this Saturday at 11am. Follow our facebook page for fixture updates.
Poker Classic: Aughawillan GAA are holding their traditional Good Friday Poker Classic in Aughawillan Community Centre on Friday April 14th at 9.30pm. Come along to what is always a very enjoyable night. 50/50 cash prizes.

Please note that membership of the club allows you full use of our gym and club room facilities and safeguards you are insured on the grounds. Adults €25.00 and Underage €10.00.
Aughawillan / Drumreilly GAA Lotto: Club lotto was held in Pat Joe’s last Wednesday night, No jackpot winner. Winners: Micheal Donohue, Drumreilly, Alan Taylor, Corrawallen, Mary Fee, Mullaghboy, Rose McHugh, Boeshill, Al Johnson, Ballyconnell and Margaret Flanagan, Church Street, Ballinamore. County Teams: Best of luck to Barry, Noel, Gary, Mark, Pearce and the Leitrim team who play Limerick this Sunday at 2pm in Newcastlewest in the next round of the Alliance Football League.
Hard luck to Mark, Fergal, Pearce and all on the Leitrim U21 team who were narrowly defeated by Galway in the U21 championship last Saturday in Tuam. Final score 2-12 to 4-10.
Hard luck to Niall and the county minor team who were defeated by Galway in the first round of the league last Saturday in Tuam. They now take on Mayo this Saturday at 3pm in Charlestown.
Hard luck to Morgan and the county hurlers who were defeated by Sligo last Sunday.
