Aughawillan GAA Notes 23 January 2017

Aughawillan GAA Executive: Devin Quinn has been appointed Irish/Cultural Officer.

Aughawillan GAA Dinner Dance will be on Saturday the 25th February 2017 in the Slieve Russell Hotel. Tickets are now on sale. Price €30. Ticket Sales points: Damien Gilheany, Paul Bohan, Tracy McTague, Gene Maguire, Jerome/Morgan Quinn, Gerard McGovern. The 2016 Senior County Champions will be presented with their medals and the 1992 Senior County Championship winning team will also be honoured on the night. Band will be the “Pre-Nups”. Travel arrangements(buses) will be made in the next couple of weeks.

Registration: Members registration afternoon in the Clubrooms on Sunday 12th February from 12pm. Alternatively, If you wish to become a member of the club, please contact Michael Flanagan, Ciaran Gilheany or Damien Gilheany. Please note that membership of the club allows you full use of our gym and club room facilities and safeguards you are insured on the grounds. Adults €25.00 and Underage €10.00.

Celebration: Night in Jackies Bar for all Christmas Draw Ticket Sellers, on Saturday 4th February. Refreshments provided.

Leitrim GAA Dinner Dance: Leitrim GAA Diner Dance is on this Saturday 28 January 2017 at 7.30pm in the Bush Hotel. Anybody who wishes to go can buy a ticket on the door. Patsy Prior will be receiving the Jim Lynch Hall of Fame Award and Pearse Dolan will be receiving Senior Club Player of the Year award. All supporters welcome. Congratulations to them both on this wonderful achievement.

Aughawillan / Drumreilly GAA Lotto draw to be held in Tabhairne an Bhainc on Wednesday 25 January 2017. Jackpot – €3,000.Please come join us for some craic.
