Dunnes Bar Division 1: Aughawillan played Melvin Gaels on Saturday evening down the park. It was a perfect evening for football with great weather conditions. The first half saw a game with the intensity of a Championship Final.Scores for Aughawillan were Sean Flanagan (1-0), Ciaran Gilheany (0-1), Morgan Quinn(0-1) and Rory Mc Tague(0-1). The half time score saw Melvin Gaels lead 2-02 to 1-03. Within minutes of the second half starting a Melvin Gaels player was injured and an ambulance was called. Thankfully the injured man was not in a life threatening situation and was escorted off the field to a round of applause some 30 minutes later.Melvin Gaels made the decision to complete the game. Scores for Aughawillan were Ciaran Gilheany (0-3) Morgan Quinn ((0-1), Ronan Maxwell(0-1), Gary Plunkett(0-1). Determination saw Aughawillan rise to the challenge in the second half and bring home a well deserved win of Aughawillan 1-09 Melvin Gaels 2-05. Willies Abú.
Swan Bar ACL Division 4: Congratulations to the junior team who had an outstanding win on Sunday playing Aughavas. Final score was Aughawillan 7-13 to Aughavas 0-10.
Clothes Collection: Many thanks to all who supported the Clothes Collection last weekend for Aughawillan GAA.
Danger Money: It was an excellent nights entertainment on Friday in Aughawillan Community Centre as Seamus O’Rourke took to the stage in “Danger Money” a comedy and one man play written by John Mc Manus. This was a fundraiser for Aughawillan GAA in partnership with the Cuilcagh Challenge taking part this weekend. Donal Quinn, Michelle Dolan and their respective teams put in a great effort and would like to thank all involved who helped behind the scene.

Comghairdeas: Congratulations to Marie Mc Tague, Corraleehan who completed the London to Brighton 100KM(62 Miles) Walk on Saturday in 25 hours and 24 minutes. This was an amazing achievement on a multi-terrain endurance challenge walk.
Corraleehan Heritage and Cultural Society: Are in the process of acquiring a Defibrillator for the Corraleehan area. It is vital that we have trained personnel in every area of Corraleehan.
