Aughawillan GAA Notes 09/05/2016
Dunnes Bar ACL Division 1: Allen Gaels 5-05 to Aughawillan 2-05.
U16: St. Brigids played Allen Gaels on the Bank holiday Monday in the semi-final of the league. The lads put on a great show, and would not have won the game, only for the continued commitment that was seen on the field till the final whistle blew. Final Score saw St. Brigid’s 3-11 to Allen Gaels 2-04.St. Brigid’s are now to play Fenagh in the Final of the League possibly this Thursday but no information had come through at time of going to press. Commit, Focus, Believe, Achieve, this is the year lads!!
U14: It was a rough start to the league for the U14 team as they played Gortlettragh in the 13 a-side on Friday evening. Gortlettragh were the winners but fair play to the St. Brigid’s lads who kept fighting their corner to the bitter end. Best of luck to them as they play Annaduff this Friday 13th May at 7pm. Venue to be confirmed.
