Gallogly Catering ACL Division 4: Congratulation to Aughawillan who played St. Osnats, Manorhamillton on Saturday evening in Aughawillan. It was a dry and cold evening for the night before the the Irish calender summer months to begin but for the Aughawillan spectators in attendance it was an excellent evening to be out in the fresh air to watch a game.At half time Aughawillan led 2-05 to 0-0. While the full time score on Leitrim fixtures was Aughawillan 3-13 to St. Osnats 0-09!! Aughawillan showed an impressive team of scores with Ronan Maxwell(0-3), Morgan Quinn(0-1), John Flynn(0-2), John Gilheany(2-0), Michael Prior (1-3), Peter Prior (0-2),Colin Maguire(0-1), Paul Prior(0-1). It was great to see Ciaran Mc Tague back in goals and he put on a fine display of accuracy and precision. We wish Finbarr Quinn a quick recovery, who was unfortunate in turning on his ankle and was replaced by Patrick Prior. We wish the lads continued success in the league.

U16: St. Brigids are to play Allen Gaels on Monday evening at 5pm in the semi-final of the league.We wish them every success.

U8/10: Congratulations to parents and mentors on hosting the first Blitz of the season on Saturday in Aughawillan. It is great to see so many young players out and taking part in the game.

Ladies Night: Need an excuse to get out of the house!! Want to meet up with some friends! Ladies Night in the Poor Scholar on Saturday 7th May is just the place to get out, have fun, mingle and laugh. Tickets are €10 and proceeds go to Aughawillan GAA. Maith Thú: Well done to Gary Deane who competed in an Iron Man competition in Drumsna this weekend.

Aughawillan GAA BBQ & Sports Day: Aughawillan GAA are hosting a BBQ & Sports Day in Aughawillan GAA Grounds on Sunday May 8th at 2.30pm as part of Cuilcagh Mountain Challenge. Fun events for all ages & abilities, followed by BBQ & entertainment. Tickets will be on sale after mass on Saturday 7th May & Sunday 8th May. Adults €10, children €5 & family ticket €30. This event is sure to be a great family fun day and we invite all in our extended communities to attend.

Maith Thú: Well done to Damien Gilheany, Patjoe Mc Niff, Pauline LeGuen and Kate Gilheany on completing two stages in the Cycle Against Suicide on Saturday.

Designated Liaison Person Workshop: All club Designated Liaison persons should attend this workshop on Thursday May 26th in Aras on Chontae (Leitrim County Council offices) Carrick-on-Shannon, 7pm – 10pm.

Comghairdeas: Congratulations to our young players Jamie Plunkett, Brian Mc Govern and Peter McNiff who all received their First Holy Communion in Corlough last weekend. We also wish to congratulate Mark McNiff, Lainey Corrigan, Ava Mc Govern and Alisha Mc Govern as they received holy communion in Aughawillan this weekend.
