Comhbhrón: It was with sadness on Saturday that we learned of the death of Thomas Kelly, formally Drumarigna. Thomas was a player, club officer and lifelong supporter of Aughawillan GFC. He presided as club secretary from 1937 to 1943, played in the backs in numerous club finals and wore his colours with pride. One day short of his 99th birthday, Thomas, one of the “old” Aughawillan team closed off an era of football and community, that will always be remembered. Aughawillan GFC wish to extend their deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones. Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam.
