Leitrim U21 Football Championship: Congratulations to St Brigid’s U21 who beat Glencar Manorhamillton on Sunday, in Blacklion. Compliments are bestowed on Blacklion for their excellent grounds and facilities, which were opened up to the teams. The final score was St Brigids 3-15 to Glencar Manorhamillton 2-08, to the delight of the many fans who turned out on the icy morning to support the lads. St. Brigids are now due to play Fenagh Gortlettragh this coming Saturday in the Championship Final at 2pm. Going to press the venue has not been decided, so please keep an eye on our Facebook page and we will keep you appraised. Please come out and support the lads!

Aughawillan / Drumreilly GAA Lotto: This week’s draw is the Christmas draw and as such there will be seven extra prizes drawn on the night in Terry Shortts Bar, Ballinamore on 16 December 2015. That is a total of 14 prizes to be won with the Jackpot standing at €3,000. Please show your support.

Aughawillan Club Christmas Celebration: On Sunday 27 December 2015, there will be a charity football match in aid of St. Ciaran’s Services, Carrick-on-Shannon for adults and children with special needs. This will be followed with live entertainment that night in Jackie’s Bar, Ballinamore. Christmas is a time for family and friends and we with goodwill to all, we hope to see a large crowd on the 27th, while doing some good for a local service. Prizes on the night include vouchers for lunch in Nevin Maguire’s restaurant Mc Nean House,A La Carte Dinner for two in the Slieve Russell Hotel,hampers from Cara Pharmacy and Mc Devitts Pharmacy and vouchers for Superalu and The Four Seasons.

Registration: If you wish to become a member of the club, please contact Michael Flanagan, Ciaran Gilheany or Damien Gilheany. Adult membership €25 and Junior Membership €10. Please note that membership of the club allows you full use of our gym and club room facilities and ensures you are insured on the grounds.

Club Commitment: A commitment was reached at the last executive meeting that all club members will receive up to date messaging on all club games. Please ensure that you have updated your phone number when paying your registration fee this year.

Handy Hint: If you are updating your health insurance as many are at this time of year, please note paid up GAA club members can redeem €30 per person with their receipt from many of the GLO health’s packages.

Aughawillan Poker Classic: Poker Classic in The Ballymac Inn on Saturday 2nd January 2016 at 9pm. Stewardship will be by Timmy Winters and a goods nights craic is promised, so come along and join the fun. Admission is €20. Everyone welcome.

Christmas Draw: Tickets are now on sale for our annual Christmas Draw. €8,000 in prizes to give away and a first prize of €5,000, this is one of the best local Christmas draws around. Please support the draw by buying a ticket for €20 or three for €50. The draw will take place in the Viking Lounge on Saturday, January 9th 2016.

25 Card Game: All welcome to join the “Card Sharks” on Friday evenings in the Clubrooms for a game of Twenty Five at 8pm.

Country Walk: Enjoy a country walk with friends and neighbours this and every Thursday at 8.30 from Corraleehan Church. All welcome.
