U16 St. Brigids: The U16 St. Brigids team played Glencar Manorhamillton on Sunday morning in Aughnasheelin. Unfortunately the lads did not win on this occasion, but put on a solid battle with Manor.
Comhghairdeas: Congratulations to Ballinamore Hurling Club who won the Leitrim Senior Hurling Championship 2015. They were playing Carrick on Shannon Hurling Club and won with a final score of Ballinamore 3-10 to Carrick 3-09. Special congratulations to our own Club players Morgan Quinn, Sean Fox and Pearse Dolan on adding another County Championship medal to their bursary.
Comhghairdeas: Congratulations to St. Brigid’s Minor Ladies who beat Drumcliffe/Rosses Point 3-11 to 2-11. They will go forward to play Claregalway in the Connacht Final on Saturday next. Wishing St. Brigid’s ladies every success.

Sympathy: The community was shocked and numbed by the news of the sudden death of Seamus Mc Tague, Killaphort, Garadice, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim.
