Senior League ACL 1: Congratulations to our senior team who had a great win over Carrigallen on Saturday in Aughawillan. Final score was 3-18 Aughawillan to 1-08 Carrigallen.
Best wishes on a quick recovery are sent to Niall Beirne and Rory Mc Tague who were both injured during the game. Thanks to all the great support that turned out on the sunny evening and revved the lads on. Next week will see Aughawillan play Melvin Gaels at 7pm in Kinlough. We wish the lads continued success.
Junior League ACL 3: Aughawillan will play St. Marys this coming Sunday at 12 noon in Carrick on Shannon. A full complement of players is needed this weekend, and we would urge all eligible players to make themselves available.
Open Club Meeting: Many thanks to all who turned up on Sunday last at our Open Club Meeting and shared your views.
U8/10 Garadice Gaels: There will be an U8/10 Blitz in Cloone this coming Saturday at 10.30 sharp. Please note training is in Aughawillan on Wednesdays at 7pm and in Drumreilly on Fridays at 7pm for this age group.
U14 St. Brigid’s: St Brigid’s U14 finished off their league season this past week with a win over Bornacoola 5-06 to St. Brigid’s 7-06. Congratulations to the lads.
U16 St. Brigid’s: Many thanks to Allen Gaels and St. Francis/St. Vincents (Drumlish), who afforded two challenge games to St. Brigid’s U16 this past week. U16 league is starting this Friday the 24th of April, with a bye for St. Brigid’s this week.
Whist Drive: Many thanks to Micky Flanagan, Cathal Mc Brien and those who helped out in the kitchen at the recent Whist Drive in Aughawillan Community Centre.
Annual Sponsored Cycle: Alerting all cycling enthusiasts, there will be a sponsored cycle at the end of May.
