Scores and More: Aughawillan Seniors played Drumkeeran on Saturday evening in the Division 1 League and although a win was within sights it was a two point loss for Aughawillan as the final whistle blew. Final scoreline 2-10 to 0-14. With the next round of the Championship this coming Saturday in Cloone at 6.45, it is imperative that a large crowd gather to support the lads and cheer them on to the next round.
St Brigids Minors played the second round of the Championship and beat Dromahair 2-20 to 2-06 on Wednesday last. A strong win,we are hopeful that this team will continue to stride for success and we call on all supporters to turn out this Wednesday in Aughnasheelin at 7pm as they take on Gortlettragh.
Aughawillan Juniors are in fine form and continue their successful streak with another win, they beat Eslin on Sunday with a final score of 1-08 to 0-15 in the Division League 3 game.Congratulations lads and we wish you continued success.
U14 Championship: Commiserations to St Brigids U14 team who put in a great effort this year and reached the final of the Championship. This was the second final they came up against Fenagh in the League Final earlier this year but unfortunately the second loss too. The lads deserve praise for their continued efforts and congratulations to Fenagh on a fine win.
